Partnerships

We are grateful for the educational opportunities, unique perspectives, and new experiences made possible by our generous community partners.

A strong support network lifts students and families at the Academy of Accelerated Learning (AAL) and prepares students for success in middle and high school.

International Baccalaureate

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a global leader in international education—developing inquiring, knowledgeable, confident, and caring young people. Their programmes empower school-aged students to take ownership in their own learning and help them develop future-ready skills to make a difference and thrive in a world that changes fast. The Academy of Accelerated Learning is an IB-authorized provider of the IB Primary Years Programme.

Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1959, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is led by Music Director Ken-David Masur. Symphony musicians perform more than 135 classics, pops, family, education, and community concerts yearly. The symphony develops music appreciation and talent among area youth through its performances and the Arts in Community Education (ACE) program. ACE brings MSO musicians, fellow artists, lesson plans, and learning materials to thousands of students and hundreds of teachers in Wisconsin. Students in ACE-affiliated schools attend an MSO concert just for them at the Bradley Symphony Center. AAL students from K5 to fifth grade participate in ACE programming.

Reflo

Reflo works with partners including MPS, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, City of Milwaukee, Fund for Lake Michigan, and Community Design Solutions to support area schools in an intensive, collaborative process to design and redevelop greener, healthier schoolyards. Projects are tailored to the specific needs and enthusiasm of the school. Designs go beyond removing pavement to maximize benefits for communities, the environment, and local economy.  AAL’s redeveloped schoolyard opened in 2022.

Wisconsin Association of IB World Schools

The Wisconsin Association of IB World Schools exists to serve member schools across the state that are authorized providers of International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. Schools meet monthly to discuss and advise one another on IB policy, technology, and best practices across the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma programmes.
