Our certified, dedicated, and diverse staff\u202fbuild a solid academic foundation that starts with a culturally relevant curriculum. English language acquisition becomes second nature when presented within the context and understanding of our students\u2019 culture. Children are encouraged to maintain their cultural ties through language and fine arts, while also developing the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in high school.<\/p>\n
Academia de Lenguaje y Bellas Artes (ALBA) was founded on the belief that bilingual students can reach their full potential when challenged academically\u2014in both English and Spanish. Through a curriculum that recognizes students\u2019 cultural identity, our learners develop the self-confidence and self-worth needed to excel. At ALBA, they gain critical thinking and problem-solving skills, expand their creativity, and prepare to be internationally minded, lifelong learners.<\/p>\n
Our students will become accomplished bilingual and bicultural leaders in society. Every ALBA student will be at or above grade level in academic skills in both Spanish and English. This will be achieved through developing bilingual content, using fine arts as a means of expression and identity, teaching academic English, and involving families and the community.<\/p>\n
