Activities

Extracurricular activities help students explore career interests, develop new talents and skills, and make friends.

Students who represent Auer Avenue School outside of their regular class time gain leadership experience and develop stronger school pride! Contact our school’s family coordinator or your student’s teacher to learn more about these opportunities.

Athletics

Our athletics program brings families together to cheer on Auer Avenue School’s basketball and cheerleading teams in grades one through five. Family members are our biggest cheerleaders and also our volunteer coaches.

After School Activities

Students can participate in STEAM experiences (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) and homework help when they enroll in our after-school program, the Nita M.Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center at COA Goldin Center. Activities and enrichment experiences typically offered to Auer Avenue School students at COA Goldin Center include games, math drills and skills, the creative and performing arts and more.
