Bay View High School is excited to celebrate one of our own!<\/p>\n

Industrial technology teacher Michael Driscoll received the 2025 Grand Prize for Teaching Excellence<\/a> from Harbor Freight Tools for Schools. More than 1,000 teachers applied for the award, which was judged by an independent panel of experts. Driscoll is one of only five educators across the country who each received $100,000 for their school. This award recognizes his dedication to preparing students for careers in technology and the trades through hands-on, high-quality instruction. The prize will be used to hire a part-time lab technician for our Makerspace and to purchase new equipment for our students to use.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Mr. Driscoll for his extraordinary commitment to Bay View students\u2014and for bringing national attention to excellence in trades programs.<\/p>\n
