About

For more than a century, Lynde and Harry Bradley Technology and Trade School graduates have used their technical education, creative vision, and Midwestern work ethic to build Milwaukee.
Today’s Bradley Tech student begins the work before graduation day. You might find a Tech senior exploring circuitry on a construction site, interning at a manufacturing plant, taking college classes during the school day — or under layers of safety equipment in our welding shop.

We remain Milwaukee’s premier technology and trade high school by innovating our academic programs and partnerships and upgrading campus workshops and laboratories. Tech students graduate with job-ready skills, professional experience and connections, content knowledge and critical thinking abilities that prepare them for college, career, and life.

  • Technical educators lead our career-track courses. Students are trained to use state-of-the-art machinery and materials. Advanced students may even take classes at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
  • Students earn high school and college credits and level up their communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills in Advanced Placement or dual enrollment courses.
  • Teachers and professional staff partner with families to help students balance the demands of life, leadership, and scholarship. This includes our counseling department, whose expertise spans the internship, apprenticeship, scholarship, and college application processes.
  • As a proud member of the Milwaukee Community Schools Partnership, Bradley Tech thrives on family involvement, community investment in our programs and facilities, and collaborative decision making that puts students and families first.

When Bradley Tech students leave the jobsite or classroom at the end of the day, they create and recharge in robotics and mechanics clubs, and through timeless pursuits like chess, National Honor Society, and athletics. The Tech Trojans compete on more than a dozen Milwaukee City Conference teams. Athletes of all skill levels train on Tech’s restored track and turf field.

Families turn out for games, college and career showcases, and Family Leadership Organization and School Community Leadership Team meetings. Nonprofit partners like City Year and Milwaukee Christian Center bring programs and positive role models to Bradley Tech to keep students focused on personal growth and progress to graduation day.
