After School Program

Lynde and Harry Bradley Technology and Trade School hosts an after-school program through its Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center at Bradley Tech.

Open from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center at Bradley Tech is an after-school enrichment program for ninth through twelfth-grade students.

The Bradley Tech Community Learning Center is led by three partners:

  • Milwaukee Recreation
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee
  • Bradley Tech

The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center at Bradley Tech provides academic tutoring, homework assistance, robotics, sports, employment coaching, music and other activities.

Fees

Milwaukee Public Schools’ 21st CCLC programs may charge nominal program fees. The inability to pay fees or to receive Wisconsin Shares authorization cannot be a barrier to participation for students.

All Milwaukee Public Schools community learning centers are funded by Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center federal grant funds through a grant agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended by No Child Left Behind, Title IV, Part B, fund all 21st Century Community Learning Center grants.

Registration

Registration forms are available at the school’s 21st CCLC site and must be submitted to the site coordinator. Additional forms may be required as part of the registration process.
