Activities

Clubs, showcases, and community events encourage students to sharpen their communication skills, network, and gain insight into who they are and where they want to go after high school.
Parents and caregivers, join us in supporting your students’ extracurricular involvement. Research shows student involvement is related to increased academic performance, increased attendance, and other positive outcomes.

Most student clubs meet once per week or twice per month. Contact a Bradley Tech counselor or teacher for more information.

Ambassadors

These elected student officers work and serve alongside the school’s administration to advocate for change and collaboration that enhances the Bradley Tech experience for all students.

Build Motorcycle Club

Based out of the school’s Build Design Center, this club has been redesigning and revving motorcycle engines since 2011. Bikes must meet the standards of the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association. Alumni, current teachers, and mentors from the community have put their foot on the gas as advisors and engineers. The club is grateful to founder Tim Dixon, owner of the Iron Horse Hotel, who envisioned bike-building mentorships as an avenue to teach students valuable life and interpersonal skills.

Chess Club

Strategy, skill, style, and stealth. Chess brings it all together as students engage in one-on-one and tournament play.

National Honor Society

Students can apply for membership in Bradley Tech’s National Honor Society (NHS) chapter. Leadership roles and service projects help NHS members prepare for college and citizenship as they work with school administrators and community groups on blood drives, awareness campaigns, and other service projects.

Robotics – Team 1675

In their own words, Team 1675 is the Ultimate Protection Squad: “A partnership between many high schools, including Bradley Tech, in and beyond the Milwaukee region. This partnership brings together some of the best minds and equipment in the country. Since 2005 the schools, along with their engineering and community sponsors, have worked towards a common goal of creating a stable and organized FIRST robotics team.”

Shanti Project

As students dedicated to discovering peace within themselves and sharing peace with the community, Shanti club members learn and practice mindfulness and wellness traditions like yoga, meditation, and art. Gratitude is shared and spread through group service projects.
