Principal’s Message

Raymond UnankaWelcome to the 2024-25 school year. We are excited about all this new school year has to offer and look forward to working with our families as we focus on continuous improvement in teaching and learning for our K3-5 scholars, and all areas of our school community.

This year we will renew our commitment to excellence in all that we do with a firm expectation that all scholars can learn and succeed. We will continue to provide scholars with opportunities to address academic deficiencies, to build numeracy and literacy skills and prepare our scholars for the assessments scheduled for them. We will continue to implement initiatives to promote teaching and learning, and to engage all our stakeholders in the process of educating our scholars.

Parents and caregivers, this work cannot be done without you at the table. It takes a village. When teachers, administration, parents, guardians, and the community work together for the benefit of the child, harmony creates one band and one sound. Please consider joining our Family Leadership Organization and Community School Leadership Team, which meet monthly.

I am excited about all this new school year has to offer and look forward to working together to ensure that our scholars are provided with the best educational experience possible. An educational experience through which our scholars acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills they need to be successful in college and careers, and also with the values and character that will make them good citizens and members of our community.

Sincerely,

Raymond Unanka, principal
