Parent Portal Access
Keeping our families informed is a high priority at Burdick School. An effective way to do that is by signing up for a parent portal account.
Here’s what to do: Contact Burdick School’s main office to sign up for a Campus Parent Portal account. One of our school secretaries will ask you some questions to verify your identity and your relationship to the child. The secretary will provide you with an activation key for signing up. Once you have registered, you can access the Campus Parent Portal online at mpsmke.com/parentportal or through an Infinite Campus mobile application. The Campus Parent Portal allows 24-hour access to view your child’s:
- Schedule
- Assignments
- Attendance
- Transportation information
- Grades
- Immunizations
- District messages
Drop-Off and Pick-up Procedures
To ensure the safety and smooth flow of our students during arrival and dismissal, we have established specific drop-off and pick-up procedures. We kindly ask all families to follow these guidelines to help create a safe and efficient process for everyone. Please review the attached document which outlines specific details including designated areas and times for drop-off and pick-up, and adhere to the instructions of our staff members who will be on-site to assist. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, and together, we can ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our students. 2024-2025 Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
Attendance
Regular attendance is essential for your child’s success in school. Consistent attendance helps students keep up with their coursework, reduces the risk of falling behind, and builds positive habits and relationships that will benefit them throughout their educational journey and beyond.
We understand that unexpected absences and tardies will happen from time to time. If your student will be absent from school, please contact Burdick’s main office at (414) 294-1200 as soon as possible. More information about student attendance can be found on page 13 in the MPS Parent/Student Handbook on Rights, Responsibilities, and Discipline
