Greetings Burdick Families!
As we wrap up another incredible year at Burdick School, I want to take a moment to look back, give thanks, and celebrate all that we’ve accomplished together.
This year has been full of learning, laughter, and unforgettable moments. We were wowed by our students during the music concerts, cheered as baby chicks hatched in 4th grade, and were deeply inspired during our Black History Month Program with special guest speaker Ernestine Tina Martin Wyatt — the great-great-great-great niece of Harriet Tubman. From Pride Week to Spirit Days to overnight field trips, our school community came together in ways big and small to make this year truly special.
To our families — thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and partnership. To our amazing staff — your hard work, care, and dedication continue to make Burdick a place where students thrive. And to our students — thank you for being the heart of everything we do. You make this community vibrant, hopeful, and full of promise.
A huge congratulations to our 8th graders on your graduation! We are so proud of you and excited for all that lies ahead. 🎓
Wishing everyone a restful, fun-filled, and sunny summer break. See you in the fall! School will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 7:15 a.m. ☀️
Staff Spotlight
For our final Staff Spotlight of the year, we’re not highlighting just one person—we’re celebrating everyone! All year long, Burdick staff have picked songs that they would play to start each morning on a high note.
I’ve put together a playlist of all the songs our amazing staff selected this year. It’s a mix that reflects the heart, humor, and spirit of the people who make Burdick such a special place.

Missing Yearbook Orders
It has been brought to our attention that some families ordered yearbooks but did not receive theirs during distribution earlier this week.
If you placed an order online at https://www.schoolandsportpics.com/ and did not get your yearbook, please contact School and Sport pics directly as soon as possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Sports Uniforms
If your child participated in a sport this year and still has their jersey, we kindly ask that you return it to school as soon as possible so that we can inventory all uniforms and order replacements if necessary.
