🍎 Staff Spotlight: Ms. Sablan
This week, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on a Burdick icon—Ms. Sablan! A dedicated 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Sablan has been part of the Burdick family for 30 years, helping shape the lives of countless students.
Third grade is a crucial year for students—it’s when they make the leap from learning to read to reading to learn, and when academic expectations begin to shift. Ms. Sablan is an absolute expert at guiding students through this important transition. With patience, structure, and high expectations, she prepares her students for success as they move from the primary to upper elementary grades.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Sablan also supports our after-school program, always finding ways to stay connected to our students and community. In her spare time, she loves to travel and relax—and she is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. 💗💚
Thank you, Ms. Sablan, for your incredible dedication, wisdom, and heart. You make Burdick better every single day!
