Join us for A Morning of Montessori!

• Tour classrooms and attend breakout sessions.
• Visit booths featuring all MPS Montessori schools.
• Enrollment resources are available onsite.

Park in the Juneau Playfield parking lot directly across from MacDowell on Mount Vernon Avenue.

FREE Childcare! Camp MacDowell will serve a snack and host activities for school-aged children. Families will sign children in/out providing a photo ID.

Light Refreshments served throughout the morning.

View our teachers and students working in classrooms. See what a typical day is like in the Montessori environment. Credentialed MPS Montessori teachers will be on hand in Question-and-Answer rooms to provide additional information.

Breakout Sessions — choose one! 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

• Introduction to Montessori – This session is for new or prospective families and will provide an overview of the Montessori curriculum, focusing on the primary (K3 – K5) grade band.
• Interactive Session – Montessori teachers will demonstrate how unique Montessori materials are used in classrooms.
