\"RhodeMy name is Rhode M\u00e1rquez-Feliciano, and it is an honor to serve the students, parents, staff, and community partners of Anna F. Doerfler School, located near the Layton Boulevard neighborhood and the Mitchell Park Domes.<\/p>\n

I am a proud MPS alum and attribute my success to an enriched education in our bilingual schools. I am passionate about providing students with a safe environment that is conducive to learning, and I am proud that Doerfler alumni often choose to come back to our school as teachers, staff, and volunteers.<\/p>\n

Our core belief is that every child can learn. We are committed to serving our families and providing a high-quality education to our students, preparing them to meet graduation requirements, be college and career ready, and become the next generation of decision-makers.<\/p>\n

Technology and art are integral to the Doerfler learning environment.<\/p>\n

We value maintaining and supporting our students\u2019 native language while helping them reach English-language proficiency.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In addition to our rigorous biliterate, bicultural curriculum, we offer music and physical education.<\/p>\n

When the school day ends, students can be part of extracurricular activities that include basketball, volleyball, dance, and art club.<\/p>\n

Doerfler is located near the Layton Boulevard neighborhood, approximately five blocks away from the Mitchell Domes. Our core belief is that every child can learn. We are committed to serve, provide quality education to our students, prepare them to meet graduation requirements and for college and career readiness. In addition to the rigorous curriculum, we offer Music, Physical Education, Technology and Art is an integral component in our learning. Our bilingual program has extended this year to 7th grade and will continue to grow. We value maintaining, supporting our student\u2019s native language and reaching English language proficiency.
