I am so excited to be working with wonderful staff, students, and families. This is my sixth year as the proud principal of Andrew S. Douglas Middle School.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Alcorn State University and my Master’s Degree from Cardinal Stritch. I taught 8th Grade English for 14 years before moving into Curriculum and Instruction and then administration.

I believe that all students are beautiful, intelligent, and talented in their own ways. My favorite color is black, and I can eat seafood on a daily basis! My past times are traveling with my children, hanging out with my Bullmastiff, and listening to great music. I am looking forward to a great year with all of you!
