Fairview School is proud to partner with local businesses and organizations that help bring our STEM programs to life and expand student opportunities beyond the classroom.
Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra
The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO) develops music appreciation and talent among youth through its performances and programming. The Arts in Community Education (ACE) Program brings MSO musicians, fellow artists, lesson plans, and learning materials to thousands of students and hundreds of teachers in Wisconsin.
Milwaukee Tool
Milwaukee Tool develops, manufactures, and markets tools, accessories, storage, and personal protective equipment. At Fairview, Milwaukee Tool team members speak with our middle school students about career pathways, helping them make real-world connections between their learning and future opportunities. In addition, they partner with our K5 through fifth-grade teams to support and co-facilitate STEM lessons. This has been a great way to enhance hands-on learning and student engagement in the classroom.
STEM Forward
STEM Forward aims to inspire a future-ready workforce by collaborating to promote STEM education and career awareness to all students. They provide our school with STEM events, teacher resources, and lessons that inspire creativity and essential skills.
Urban Ecology Center (UEC)
Milwaukee’s three Urban Ecology Centers provide year-round educational programs for kids, families, and adults of all ages. The centers help make urban parks safer, enrich classroom curriculum, and provide students with the science skills they need to succeed. Fairview students visit the UEC for field experiences through UEC’s Neighborhood Environmental Education Project (NEEP).
