STARBASE for all 5th graders at Fernwood! Mark your calendars!
STARBASE is a premier “hands-on, minds-on” STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) program. The entire 5th grade will be at STARBASE, on Wednesdays from April 10 – May 8. The bus will be at school at 8:00 on those days and will return students to school by 2:00. If your child is late for school and misses that bus, STARBASE is located at 5130 W. Silver Spring Dr. in Building 301, please bring them there. Although lunches-to-go can be ordered at school, there is a limited supply. Please try to send a lunch from home instead. The trip is $4 per day, so a total of $20 will be requested with the permission slip. More information and permission slips will go home through classroom teachers the week of March 11.
