Our School is Cool!
There’s always something COOL going on at Fernwood! This week (and every week) Fernwood students are engaged in creating COOL, BIG work! Those carts of big rolls of paper on every floor are not just for show! Why do Montessori students engage in creating big things? Maria Montessori believed that big work was important for children because it fosters creativity and engages them in thinking about big ideas! Humans also just like big things (dinosaurs, big trucks, etc)! Please see the attached document for some big work (that took big time to create) that was done by students here at school and proudly displayed in our halls!
