The Forest Home Avenue School Safe Place provides before- and after-school childcare and enrichment activities to K4 through fifth-grade students at Forest Home Avenue School.
Before School Hours
7:00 a.m. to 7:25 a.m.
After School Hours
2:10 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Dinner is served at 2:10 p.m.
The program provides structure and supervision by following a 1:15 staff: child ratio. The Safe Place supports Forest Home Avenue School’s student-achievement and learning goals by offering enrichment activities that prepare youth for high-school, college, and career success.

Costs
Milwaukee Public Schools Safe Places charge a nominal program fee, and most Safe Place programs accept Wisconsin Shares childcare subsidies. The inability to pay fees or to receive Wisconsin Shares authorization cannot be a barrier to participation for students.

Registration and Information
Parents/guardians can complete Safe Place Youth Participant Registration and Emergency & Health History forms in advance, or get copies on-site. Completed forms must be submitted to the Forest Home Avenue School Safe Place. Additional forms may be required as part of the registration process.
