Even in July, my mind drifts to August:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How will the first day of school feel?<\/li>\n<li>How do we ensure our amazing staff is fully prepared?<\/li>\n<li>How can we deepen our connection with families?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But today, I\u2019m settling into a different thought \u2014 our 8th graders are now freshmen. They\u2019re heading off to high school, full of thoughts, nerves, excitement, and dreams. I can\u2019t help but wonder:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What are they thinking about?<\/li>\n<li>How are they getting ready?<\/li>\n<li>What will their journey look like?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And I already know one thing for sure: They will do EPIC things.<\/p>\n<p>Why? Because they come from an EPIC place.<br \/>\nThey\u2019ve been supported by epic staff, led by epic leadership, and are part of a district with an EPIC vision. They are Grantosa Made, and that means they are ready to live EPIC in high school and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>To our new high schoolers: we are proud of you. We believe in you. And we can\u2019t wait to hear all about your high school adventures.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy your summer. Rest, dream, and prepare to thrive. And don\u2019t forget to come back and see your Grantosa family at Open House on August 27th from 4\u20136 PM.
