Alexander Hamilton High School student-athletes proudly compete as the Hamilton Wildcats.

For many sports, we offer teams at freshmen, junior varsity, and varsity levels. Hamilton’s baseball, basketball, football, and softball teams have won numerous conference championships.

Tickets

Digital ticket sales begin one week before a scheduled athletic event and end 30 minutes after the event’s scheduled start time.

Athletes may participate in only one sport per season. There are three seasons each school year: fall, winter, spring.

Special Olympics Unified Basketball

Students with intellectual and developmental disabilities can participate in adapted basketball events. Adaptive athletics provide opportunities to exercise, strengthen social skills, and develop independence.

Advice for High School Athletes

Student-athletes are expected to attend practice every day and stay on top of academics. Students should notify their coach ahead of time if they cannot make a practice.

Student-Athlete Registration

Athletes and families must review, sign, and submit the following documents and information on the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athlete Registration Portal:

  • Athletic fee
  • Athletic permit card
  • Code of Conduct
  • Concussion Agreement forms
  • Family and student info: Name, address, chosen activity, emergency contact
  • Physical exam form, completed by medical professional
  • Proof of Insurance (pic of front/back of card); option to purchase from K&K Insurance for sports season if needed
  • Student-Athlete Handbook
  • Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association eligibility forms

Milwaukee Public Schools has partnered with Concentra health care services to provide physical exams for high-school athletes, or you may work with your child’s current medical provider.
