Welcome to Nathaniel Hawthorne Elementary School. After 26 years in education — teacher, assistant principal, district supervisor, and recipient of the 2023-24 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Principal Leadership and 2024 Wisconsin Association for Talented and Gifted Outstanding Administrator of the Year awards — I know that kids come to school to learn and to be loved. As staff, we connect with students, so they feel genuinely loved and cared for when they are with us.

I am incredibly proud of the emotionally and academically enriching environment we have created for students, thanks to excellent staff, engaged families, and dedicated community partners.
