At Hayes Bilingual School, our 600+ students thrive in many roles, from kindergarten scientists to middle-school scholars winning citywide STEM contests.
Hayes students are bilingual learners, meeting academic expectations in Spanish and English. They fabricate and innovate in our school engineering laboratories and join FIRST LEGO League and Cientificas programs for after-school STEM studies. Hayes students are dancers, performing with our Danza Folclórica troupe at celebrations like the MPS United Nations World Fair and Cantos de las Américas.
Licensed and certified bilingual teachers lead our K8 students through a curriculum based on state standards, focused on biliteracy, and informed by culturally responsive programs like First Nations Studies. The Hayes Bilingual School graduate is proud of their accomplishments, and prepared to succeed at partner high schools like Rufus King IB, Reagan, Milwaukee School of Languages, and South Division.
