Lincoln Avenue Community School is a multi-ethnic school located on the near south side of Milwaukee. Our goal is to instill in our students, K3 through 5th grade, the importance of becoming life long learners and productive citizens. Lincoln Avenue provides academic programs from monolingual, bilingual and special education students. We would like to share some of our many successes and our goals for continued improvement.<\/p>\r\nLincoln Avenue Elementary School is a Bilingual English\/Spanish Elementary School serving grades K3 through 5th. Our school provides bilingual education to Spanish language dominant students from K3 Head Start through 5th Grade through a developmental bilingual program. A strong academic curriculum and a professional teaching staff ensure all students achieve academic success. Lincoln Avenue Elementary School offers a comprehensive academic program that includes Head Start, High Scope, AGR, Bilingual Education, Regular and Special Education.\r\n\r\nLincoln Avenue School has the honor of many awards and recognitions including: Herb Kohl Education Foundation Teacher Awards, PBIS School of Distinction, as well as other recognitions throughout the years. Our talented staff works hard to create an outstanding school community.\r\n\r\nOur school offers a well-rounded curriculum including band, art, physical education and technology classes. Additionally we offer before and after school day care, an after school Boys and Girls Club Community Learning Center, basketball and soccer teams and a cheerleading squad.\r\n
