Pursuing proficiency and academic excellence in English and Spanish connects students from Milwaukee, Mexico, and Venezuela in our bilingual multicultural education program.

All students have access to resources and role models that support their academic achievement and overall well-being. Daily “Essential Eight” practices keep them on time and track as they move through our historic building on Milwaukee’s Lower East Side. Restorative Practices skills are taught, modeled, and used school-wide. These gentle guidelines build trust and respect and help us solve problems and handle conflict calmly.

Students learn core content as they embrace the arts as a form of self-expression. Sixth graders build confidence and explore their creativity in dance, music, and graphic design classes. Seventh and eighth graders choose art-focus areas that reflect their identity and new talents and abilities. Lincoln’s three seasonal showcases highlight student work from our artist-in-residence program, music ensembles, and dance studio. Milwaukee’s multicultural arts organizations bring workshops and mentors to Lincoln and welcome our students on field trips.

New scholars are always welcome—no audition is needed. Please join us for a tour or performance soon.
