Students can grow as gardeners, athletes, and leaders when they join extracurricular clubs and teams at Lowell International Elementary School.<\/p>\n

Athletics<\/h2>\n

The Lowell Dolphins are fourth- and fifth-grade student-athletes competing in three co-ed sports: basketball, soccer, and volleyball.<\/p>\n

Green Team<\/h2>\n

The Green Team works on projects that reduce our school\u2019s carbon footprint, including reviewing ideas and raising funds for a new schoolyard. A partnership with environmental education nonprofit Reflo, our redeveloped schoolyard will open in 2027. Fourth- and fifth-grade team members will help care for new trees, gardens, and native plantings contributing to a greener, healthier Lowell schoolyard.<\/p>\n

Playworks Junior Coach Leadership Program<\/h2>\n

Fourth and fifth graders work with a dedicated Playworks Wisconsin coach to learn games, understand group dynamics, and practice positive conflict-resolution skills. As junior coaches, they can share new strategies and skills with classmates during recess. Training includes a monthly meeting and field trip.<\/p>\n
