Students who represent MacDowell Montessori School in the community gain leadership experience and strengthen school pride.<\/p>\n<p>Most activities\/clubs meet after school. Exceptions include art studio, choir, and instrument lessons, which students participate in during the school day. This peer-to-peer suicide prevention program is available at select MPS schools. Squad members have regular meetings with trained advisors. They talk about mental health topics and learn to spot emotional distress. This helps them connect classmates with trusted adults and resources for support.
