Our strong academic program includes advanced placement courses, career academies for students interested in health sciences or hospitality careers, plus innovative and student-centered math and English/Language Arts curricula. Alternative education programs provide individualized support to students who need help staying on track to graduate.
JMAC proudly participates in the Milwaukee Community Schools Partnership (MCSP), a collective strategy designed to transform schools into collaborative environments where students, families, staff, and the surrounding community work together to ensure every student’s success. This proven model enhances a school’s capacity to engage and align partnerships that address the real-time priorities identified by the school and community.
Outside the classroom, JMAC students learn and lead in competitive athletics and extracurricular activities. Our Senior Board and Community School Youth Council (CSYC) work in the school and city-wide to create a positive school environment.
Supporting the whole student through character building, leadership development, mentorship and academic opportunities unites the JMAC community, led by Principal Alonzo Fuller.
“Surround our students with positive role models today, and they will enhance society tomorrow as proud Madison graduates,” Fuller says.
