An intake meeting and reading test are required to determine eligibility. Qualifying students must read at a 4.5-8.9 reading level. Students can earn their high school diploma by demonstrating mastery of essential skills and knowledge through project-based learning. This innovative approach allows students to progress at their own pace, focusing on their strengths and addressing areas that need improvement. By prioritizing competency over seat time, the program ensures that graduates are well-prepared for postsecondary education and career opportunities.[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”GED Option #2″ open_toggle_text_color=”#2B2B28″ open_toggle_background_color=”#ebebeb” closed_toggle_background_color=”RGBA(255,255,255,0)” icon_color=”#005B35″ toggle_icon=”||fa||900″ use_icon_font_size=”on” icon_font_size=”22px” open_icon_color=”#005B35″ open_toggle_icon=”||fa||900″ open_use_icon_font_size=”on” open_icon_font_size=”22px” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” title_text_color=”#2B2B28″ title_level=”h3″ title_font=”Open Sans||||||||” title_font_size=”22px” custom_margin=”||10px||false|false” hover_enabled=”0″ custom_css_toggle_icon=”position:relative;||padding-right:14px;||” border_width_all=”0px” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]GED Option #2<\/a> is for students 17 and older who are at least one year behind in their high school credits and still want to graduate with their peers.
