At Milwaukee Marshall High School, attendance is important to success! EVERY DAY COUNTS!
Please make sure that your child is at school, on time, every day. Our school day starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:25 p.m.
If your child will be absent or late, please contact the office at [email protected] or (414) 393-2464. Give your name, your child’s name, grade, teacher, and reason for absence.

The following reasons for absences are valid: Illness, serious illness or death in the family, medical or dental attention, religious holidays, mandated court appearances, educational or district-sponsored activities approved by the principal.

Tardies
A little late is too late, but we prefer to have a student tardy rather than absent. Students arriving late must report to the main office for an admit slip.
Steps to Follow for an Early Dismissal
- Parents must send a note with the student on the day of the early dismissal giving the time the child will be picked up from school.
- The student must bring the note to the attendance office first thing in the morning to get an early dismissal slip.
- The student will remain in class until the parent arrives and shows proper identification, which is checked against the emergency contact card.
