\"FrenchOur school is a destination for international educators and families from Algeria, France, Senegal, and our Milwaukee hometown. Young students (K4 through first grade) make fast progress in French learning from faculty who are native speakers as well as experts in immersion education and in their subject area(s). Faculty follow state academic standards while teaching math, literacy, social studies, and other subjects in French. Technology has a home in every classroom, and students develop STEM knowledge and skills in our school\u2019s media center and during STEM-focused field trips. Students read, write, and speak English and French proficiently by the end of fifth grade. Milwaukee French Immersion School graduates find success in the district\u2019s International Baccalaureate and language programs in middle and high school, such as Milwaukee School of Languages, before they advance to college or career.<\/p>\n

Working together, Milwaukee French Immersion School faculty, students, and families have earned local and international recognition for academic achievement, teaching excellence, and a school climate where diversity, respect, and positivity inspire us daily.<\/p>\n
