Home to the largest collection of German-language children’s literature in North America, our Library Media Center offers students thousands of opportunities to embrace their new language.
Within the library’s 3,000 square feet, students and staff can find:

Destiny User’s Guide
Destiny is Milwaukee Public Schools’ Online Library Catalog System, providing instant access to reading and learning materials in both languages and your child’s library account. Type or select Milwaukee German Immersion School in the navigation bar on the left and start exploring.
- My Info – Use this tab to search for and reserve books and review your child’s outstanding items and fines.
- Filters – Use this tab to choose or change the language you or your child want to read.
Digital Materials Through MPL and More
Starting in first grade, MPS students may borrow up to 10 digital materials per year through the Milwaukee Public Library and Wisconsin’s Digital Library.
- Username – Students use their MPS S-number without the leading “S.”
- Pin – Students use their four-digit birth year.
