Choir is for grades 3 – 5 and meets once a week during their lunch recess time and is lead by our music teacher, Frau Henderson.

Since this year is a Biennial Music Festival Year, only our 4th and 5th grade students will be rehearsing from mid-February through early May. Rehearsals will resume for 3rd grade after the Biennial Music Festival. (The Festival is for 4th and 5th grade students only, per Music Department guidelines).

Our MGIS Choir will have other performances throughout the year, including GermanFest, which will occur during the last weekend of July 2026.

Students must have a signed media release as well, since we will be performing in public.

A letter containing more detailed information will be sent home at the first practice. There is a limit of 50 students
