We are excited to share major renovations and updates to the Milwaukee High School of the Arts (MHSA) campus.
Dedicated Dance Studio
Our dancers now train in a beautiful 3,000-square-foot studio designed just for them, with plenty of room to move and a professional sound system to bring music to life. The new space lets students fully immerse themselves in their art—while the gym has been restored to its full size for athletics and school events.
Innovative STEAM Lab
Our PLTW program has a new home for hands-on learning! Our brand-new lab sparks creativity for students exploring science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). The lab encourages innovation with space for 3D printers, drone education, gaming stations, mill work, and more.
Upgraded Outdoor Spaces
The renovated mini park behind our school gives students a welcoming place to connect, eat lunch, and relax. Featuring new plantings, benches, and stepped concrete seating that doubles as risers, the park has quickly become a favorite spot for MHSA students.
Other Building Improvements
Visitors and passers-by alike can see the school’s refreshed exterior, including a new concrete ramp and stairs at the main entrance, decorative panels, and new windows. Just as important are the updates inside, such as an upgraded air-handling system that improves airflow and creates a healthier environment for students and staff.
