In every grade, teachers use technology to present exciting and engaging literacy, math, and STEM lessons to students.
Integrating SMART Boards and laptops in classrooms also helps students develop computer literacy and STEM skills that can prepare them for college and career opportunities as young adults.
Computer and Internet access at home supports students’ academic progress. Access to online learning resources and classroom lessons keeps them connected to academics when they are away from school.
Parents are encouraged to use technology to stay in touch with their child’s classroom teacher, receive Mitchell School updates, and access their child’s schedule, grades, and other important information.
- Join Class Dojo, a digital communication app that Mitchell School teachers and coaches use to easily, quickly communicate with families. Your child’s teacher will provide login information at the beginning of the school year or sports season.
- Create a free Campus Parent Portal account.
- Ask our Parent Coordinator about bilingual technology lessons for families. Mitchell School offers these lessons throughout the year.
