Join the District Multilingual Multicultural Advisory Committee
The purpose of this committee is to provide parents and educators of English learner students with the chance to provide their input to the MPS board of directors about their experiences with English learner programs. While the committee will be primarily made of parents of English learners enrolled in the bilingual and/or English as a Second Language program as well as bilingual educators, which includes bilingual teachers, bilingual paraprofessionals, and bilingual counselors working alongside district administration. There are limited spots available for language immersion parents to be apart of the committee. District administration will share information about each program with committee members. Together, the group will learn about strengths and challenges with a lens on continuous improvement. Additionally, the committee shall assist the MPS Directors in informing educators and parents of English learners about English learner programming options.
