We offer a variety of after-school activities for upper-campus students in second through fifth grades. Clubs can vary based on staff and student participation. Returning favorites focus on activities like chess, computer coding, producing the school newspaper, and reading and discussing literature.<\/p>\n
Parents and caregivers, please join us in encouraging your child\u2019s participation. Many clubs meet once or twice a week. Ask our parent coordinator or your child\u2019s classroom teacher for sign-up and schedule information.<\/p>\n
The most popular club at MSIS, Bike Repair Club teaches students basic to advanced techniques to keep their bikes running smoothly.<\/p>\n
Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast provides friendship, adventure, give-back opportunities, leadership, new skills, and fun for Girl Scouts in grades K5-12. As a Girl Scout, you can discover what you\u2019re passionate about, take fun trips, and find the space to unapologetically be yourself with a squad ready to cheer you on.\u00a0MSIS Girl Scouts start in K5. Troops in each grade are parent-led; some troops may combine several grades. Financial Aid is available. Please contact Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast at (414) 476-1050 to learn about forming a troop.<\/p>\n
The Milwaukee Spanish Immersion School Toros are student-athletes in first through fifth grades. The MSIS Toros compete in co-ed basketball, cheerleading, flag football, soccer, and volleyball. Teams practice after school and compete on Saturdays through the Milwaukee Recreation Youth Sports Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n Athletics participation is dependent on the number of participants and availability of coaches.\u202fInterested in becoming a coach?
