{"id":7596,"date":"2025-02-14T21:14:21","date_gmt":"2025-02-14T21:14:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mpsschoolsites.wpenginepowered.com\/msis\/?p=7596"},"modified":"2025-02-14T21:14:21","modified_gmt":"2025-02-14T21:14:21","slug":"festival-update-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mps.school\/msis\/2025\/02\/14\/festival-update-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Festival Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Unfortunately, due to scheduled stage maintenance work at Hamilton we will not be able to hold our scheduled Festival.\u00a0 We did attempt to contact other schools to see if we could relocate our Festival however after looking at options and weighing all pros and cons it was decided it was better to cancel Festival. \u00a0The changes in venue would result in high cost for rehearsal bussing.\u00a0 Also practicing and learning a new stage would be stressful for both students and staff. \u00a0To ensure that we can still offer our families a quality cultural event that highlights our program\u2019s dedication to the culture of Spanish speaking countries we will plan and schedule a MERCADO.
