MSL Hawk’s Special Olympics Basketball Team Moves On

March 5, 2024 | News

The MSL Hawk’s Special Olympics team played in their Regional Tournament at Homestead Sunday morning. Giovanni T. was the king of rebounds. With another strong defensive performance, Jalen B. led the team in most steals. Chardell E. and Davon W. improved in their defensive tactics to slow down our opponents game. The team played hard in game one, but couldn’t sneak out a win, losing a tight match 17-16. In game two, Davonye A. hammered in three 3 pointers! Romel B., Twonyae C. and Bogart O. helped seal the win with numerous baskets each. They finished their second game with a win 33-27. Thank you to the teachers and families that came out to cheer us on. Their performance at regionals advanced the team to Sectionals on March 16th. Save the date and come cheer us on at New Berlin West High School.
