Sophomore Ruby Meldahl has been named a Congress-Bundestag Scholar (CBYX) for the 2025-26 school year. CBYX scholars serve as youth ambassadors for the United States, sharing their culture with Germans and bringing the German culture back to their home communities. Ruby will live with a host family and attend school in Germany from August until June. She will also attend seminars in Berlin and meet members of the German parliament. Congratulations, Ruby!

Attention all students enrolled in an AP Spanish class next school year. Are you interested in taking your Spanish learning experience outside of the country? Come see Sr. Jordan in room 120 for more information on how you can join the AP Spanish trip to Spain in May 2026.

Attention all BLMA students. On April 21, we will be going to Marquette University for our annual BLMA Mental Health Awareness Symposium. This year, however, only 15 students will be able to attend from each school. We currently have 9 spots left to fill. Please turn in your signed permission slips to either Mrs. O’Neil or Mr. Jordan as soon as possible if you’d like to attend.

If you missed or did not finish any part of the WI Forward Exam, Ms. Biami is doing make-up over the next two weeks. A schedule of make-ups is posted outside of room 209, but Ms. Biami will inform staff of who needs to test and when.

Next Tuesday, all 9th and 10th graders will be taking the PreACT Secure. It is important that you bring a charged Chromebook, charger, and your own calculator. It is also important that you get a good night’s rest, be on time, and eat a healthy breakfast. During testing, the 160s and 180s wing will be inaccessible so if you have a locker or class in those areas, please plan ahead. Staff should review the plan (as changes have been made) that Dr. Baez posted in the weekly bulletin.

Attention MSL- Ticket sales for MSL’s First Musical Theater production, Hairspray the Musical, are LIVE! The show dates are April 11, 12, and 13. Flyers are going up around the building today with a QR code to take you to the online store for tickets. Student tickets are $5, adults are $10.Please come and support, and spread the word, this is going to be amazing!

Attention stage crew members, and folks that want to be a part of crew for the musical specifically- some of you have come to talk to Mr. Titus about the possibility of being a part of stage crew for the musical. Now is the time!! This week, stage crew members should plan to be here after school until 5:30 this week. If you are planning to help out, please come to Mr. Titus’ room after school today so that we can get stage assignments worked out!

Attention Girls of Color Members, please return Denim Day permission slips by this Friday (4/4) to any advisor or place it in Ms. Hamdan’s mailbox. If you need a new permission slip, please see Ms. Hamdan ASAP.
