Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive system that provides the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students to achieve social, emotional, and academic success.
Through PBIS, Milwaukee School of Languages staff provide various interventions and supports to all students.
Our PBIS framework also focuses on rewards and recognition for students who consistently lead the flock toward success.
Field trips, MSL Hawks swag, and school-day celebrations are just a few incentives students can earn for positive behavior: No incident referrals, no tardies, and no detentions (lunch or after school).
Parents and caregivers can watch The Hawk Squawk family newsletter, talk to their students, and attend parent-teacher conferences to learn more about PBIS at MSL.
