On Thursday 1/12/23, we have our first PTSA meeting of 2023! In addition to normal business, we’ll have a presentation from Katie Roman of Children’s Wisconsin on the topic of ‘Anxiety: How to Support Our Teens’. Anxiety: How to Support Our Teens 
Presented by child and family therapist, Katie Roman, LCSW. 
 
What is anxiety and who does it effect youth? This training educates parents and caregivers on how the brain interprets stress and what it does to keep us safe, even if there is no “real” danger. Learn to differentiate healthy stress from signs your teen could be struggling with an anxiety disorder. Know the dos and don’ts of supporting teens with anxious feelings and have the skills to support them when going through an anxious moment.
