Through PBIS, Milwaukee School of Languages staff provide various interventions and supports to all students.<\/p>\n

Our PBIS framework also focuses on rewards and recognition for students who consistently lead the flock toward success.<\/p>\n

Field trips, MSL Hawks swag, and school-day celebrations are just a few incentives students can earn for positive behavior: No incident referrals, no tardies, and no detentions (lunch or after school).<\/p>\n

Parents and caregivers can watch The Hawk Squawk family newsletter, talk to their students, and attend parent-teacher conferences to learn more about PBIS at MSL.<\/p>\n

The field trip is for eligible 6th and 7th graders.\u00a0 A total of 150 students can attend the field trip.\u00a0 In order to qualify for the PBIS incentive field trip, students must meet the following criteria: (timeframe 10\/7--10\/13)\r\n\r\n* No incident referrals\r\n\r\n* No tardies\r\n\r\n* No detentions (lunch or after school)\r\n\r\nAll eligible students will be placed into a drawing and 150 students will be randomly selected to attend the field trip.\u00a0 The cost of the field trip is $ 5.00.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe second PBIS incentive field trip is scheduled for November 30th to AMC Mayfair to view the movie Fantastic Beasts. The field trip is for eligible 8th graders. In order to qualify for the PBIS incentive field trip, students must meet the following criteria: (timeframe 11\/3 - 11\/11)\r\n\r\n* No incident referrals\r\n\r\n* No tardies\r\n\r\n* No detentions (lunch or after school)\r\n\r\n*Academic review by teachers\r\n\r\nAll eligible 8th grade students will be placed into a drawing and 100 students will be randomly selected to attend the field trip.
