{"id":235769,"date":"2025-09-25T20:28:32","date_gmt":"2025-09-25T20:28:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mpsschoolsites.wpenginepowered.com\/msl\/?p=235769"},"modified":"2025-09-25T20:28:32","modified_gmt":"2025-09-25T20:28:32","slug":"school-announcements-9-25-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mps.school\/msl\/2025\/09\/25\/school-announcements-9-25-25\/","title":{"rendered":"School Announcements (9\/25\/25)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Attention <strong>Hope Squad members<\/strong>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Our first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 30th from 8:30-10:00 AM.\u00a0 We will meet in the library.\u00a0 Meetings are mandatory.\u00a0 If you are unable to attend, you must speak with an Advisor.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Chrome Zone Support Team<\/strong> will be training in Room 182 Hour 5 on Monday, Sept 29.\u00a0 The following students have stepped up to serve the school on the Chrome Zone Support Team: Xavi Escalante Morales, Aisling Meksyphet, Malia Prentice, Ryan Rodriguez Vega, and Anthony Gonzalez.\u00a0 We will get our first training from MPS technology support, and furnther training later on in the year from Factory reps from Acer.\u00a0 Thank you to those five students for being willing to step up and help out.\u00a0 Permanent passes will be issued at the training on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Last night the <strong>JV Girls Volleyball<\/strong> team won their match against Pulaski in three straight sets &#8211; 25-16, 25-13, and 15-9.\u00a0 Nora Synovic and Aubrey Pampuch-Buck lead the Lady Hawks with 11 and 10 service aces. Lydia Turner had 3 kills. Great game last night ladies!<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Hawks Nest<\/strong> will be open next Wednesday &amp; Thursday 2nd hour you can buy snacks or a drink for $1 or $2<\/p>\n<p>Attention <strong>10th grade PEOPLE Scholars<\/strong>, on Monday and Tuesday of next week you have mandatory practice ACT in room 163 starting promptly at 3:30 pm.\u00a0 Please prepare yourself with your fully charged Chromebook to complete the test.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attention<\/strong> <strong>Middle Schoolers<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>Are you crafty and creative?\u00a0 Do you like making things out of beads?<\/p>\n<p>Frau Marsack has just the thing for you: A <strong>Middle School Bead Club<\/strong>.\u00a0 To get this club started, she needs your input!\u00a0 Please stop by room 211 for a Google Classroom code, and then fill out a survey by next Wednesday, October 1.\u00a0 More information will be available next week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Asian club<\/strong> is meeting every Friday from 3:30-4:30 pm in room 104. Join us to meet new friends who want to learn to dance, make origami and many other talents. Check our Google classroom for more info.
