Congratulations to the boy\u2019s golf team<\/strong> for finishing 3rd in conference this year. Making first team All-Conference were Kyle Gagliano and Beckett Schultz. Please congratulate the golfers on an amazing season this year. Thanks Coach Huven<\/p>\n

MSL High School Girls volleyball<\/strong> has a week of summer contact practice this week starting 6\/2, 3:30-5:30, in the gym. All students interested in playing high school girls volleyball next year are encouraged to attend. \u2013 Mr. Hannan<\/p>\n

Last Saturday, the Middle School track and field team<\/strong> had a great performance during the fourth meet at Vincent High School stadium. Here are some of the highlights:<\/p>\n

Track Events<\/p>\n

Jordan Bond, Spencer Velasquez, Dylan Dames, and Corey Mitchell took 5th place in the Boys 4×200 Meter Relay<\/p>\n

Mira Xiong took 4th place in the Girls 400 Meter Relay<\/p>\n

Allen Thompson took 4th place in the Boys 100 Meter Relay<\/p>\n

Jordan Bond, John Cotton, Josiah White, and Corey Mitchell took 4th place in the Boys 4×100 Meter Relay<\/p>\n

Josiah White took 3rd place in the Boys 100 Meter Relay<\/p>\n

Evelyn Adams took 3rd place in the Girls 1600 Meter Relay<\/p>\n

Allen Thompson took 1st place in the Boys 400 Meter Relay<\/p>\n

Field Events<\/p>\n

John Cotton took 5th place in the Boys Shot Put Relay<\/p>\n

Allen Thompson took 2nd place in the Boys Shot Put Relay<\/p>\n

Analya Martin took 4th place in the Girls Long Jump Relay<\/p>\n

Mira Xiong took 5th place in the Girls Triple Jump Relay<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the entire Track and Field team for their great performance during the meet.<\/p>\n

June is Pride month<\/strong>! To show our support, let’s all wear our rainbow colors tomorrow (Tuesday) to celebrate Pride. I hope you’re seeing lots of rainbows around you this week in honor of Pride month! Did you know that the first Pride month was first officially recognized LGBTQ Pride Month by President Bill Clinton in June 1999? At the end of this week will be Pride fest and Pride Parade. The first Pride march took place in June 1970. It commemorated the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. As a language school, we would like to acknowledge the 101 UN member states worldwide who celebrate Pride like the U.S. Also, GSA members attending Pride BBQ, please report to the auditorium at the end of hour 2 on Thursday when the bell rings.
