Arts @ Large<\/h2>\n

Arts @ Large provides equitable access to arts in schools through arts-centered education. Students at participating schools enjoy various arts-related activities to nurture their creativity and social-emotional growth. At MSLS, artist educators from Arts @ Large teach art classes and provide structure, support, and inspiration to our students.<\/p>\n

PEARLS for Teen Girls<\/h2>\n

PEARLS for Teen Girls aims to strengthen our community one girl at a time. With the values of Personal Responsibility, Empathy, Awareness, Respect, Leadership, and Support, PEARLS empowers young women and gender-expansive youth. The organization provides self-development tools, guidance, and support for better, brighter futures.<\/p>\n

Reflo<\/h2>\n

Playgrounds across MPS are greener and healthier thanks to a partnership with Reflo. This environmental nonprofit works with other organizations to design, construct, and renovate MPS schoolyards like ours, which opened in 2024. Reflo combines environmental education, water management, and child\u2019s play to create greener, healthier playgrounds. Each project is tailored to the specific needs and enthusiasm of the school\u2019s community and can include outdoor classrooms, recreational facilities, and arts opportunities. <\/p>\n

Florentine Opera<\/h2>\r\n\"\"Florentine Opera Company programs reach a broad spectrum of individuals throughout Metro Milwaukee, southeastern Wisconsin and beyond. Each year the Florentine Opera is committed to serving the Greater Milwaukee area with arts programming. Last year, nearly 20,000 students and individuals benefited from Florentine Opera programs. These programs provide a vital addition to local arts education\u2014both in the classroom and on the stage. The Florentine Opera Company Education Department is committed to providing educators with opportunities to utilize opera to meet educational standards, as well as to enhance learning for all students.\r\n\r\nOur in-school programs introduce elementary, middle and high school students to the fundamentals of opportunities that exist within the field of opera.
