Welcome to Barack Obama School of Career and Technical Education (SCTE)!

As the principal, I am proud to be a part of this wonderful community of students, staff, families, community members, and partners. I come from a family of Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) educators, so the success and well-being of our students is near and dear to me.

My passion for teaching and working with students began during my college years when I worked in MPS summer camps and pre-college programs. I officially started with the district in 2008 as a paraprofessional with a promise to make a change for the better. Now in this role, I am able to stand by my word and be the best leader I can be to ensure that the students of Barack Obama SCTE thrive.
