School Hours

Pratt educators have the expertise and experience to support the whole child. Our teachers plan lessons and projects that engage diverse learning styles and encourage independence. During guided lessons, research, and field trips, scholars ask questions, share ideas, and see others’ perspectives. Art, music, physical education, and Spanish classes promote creative and intercultural expression and mind-body awareness.
When the school day ends, the lights stay on at Pratt Elementary’s Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center. Scholars enjoy the center’s enrichment opportunities and activities; parents appreciate reliable after-school support. Family engagement and community partnerships strengthen our school, whether you’re a member of our School Engagement or District Advisory council or a classroom volunteer. Superfans and volunteer coaches are welcome. The Pratt Rockets compete in basketball, cheerleading, and soccer.
