A strong support network lifts scholars and families at Marvin E. Pratt Elementary School and helps prepare our students for success in middle and high school. 

Arts @ Large

Arts @ Large brings the arts to schools. Scholars participate in art classes that nurture their creativity and social and emotional growth. Artist educators from Arts @ Large provide structure, support, and inspiration to Pratt scholars during weekly art classes and activities aligned with our Common Core and Primary Years Programme integrative framework.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee

With safe places to learn and play, positive role models, and educational programming, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee has helped local kids and teens thrive since 1887. Today, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee provides after-school enrichment in partnership with the school and Milwaukee Recreation through the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center at Pratt.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a global leader in international education—developing inquiring, knowledgeable, confident, and caring young people. Their programmes empower school-aged students to take ownership in their own learning and help them develop future-ready skills to make a difference and thrive in a world that changes fast. Pratt is an IB-authorized provider of the IB Primary Years Programme. 

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan

As Pratt’s partner organization through the School Community Partnership for Mental Health, therapists from Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan spend two days per week at our school, working with teachers, the school social worker, psychologist, counselor, and parent coordinator, to get to know scholars and families. As trusted members of our school community, therapists bring age appropriate, evidence-based wellness workshops and therapies to scholars and families.

Pettit National Ice Center

Third graders can receive three weeks of expert skating instruction at this official U.S. Speedskating training facility, which features two international-size ice rinks and a 400-meter speed skating oval.

United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay

Located less than three miles from Pratt, the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay shares our commitment to a rigorous, globally relevant education for all K4-5 scholars. The church’s Learn to Succeed tutors are retired educators who provide academic support to scholars in all grades and every subject. Learn to Succeed tutors volunteer at Pratt every day.

University of Wisconsin Extension Master Gardener Program

The University of Wisconsin Extension Master Gardener Program supports a network of individuals dedicated to horticulture education, service, and lifelong learning. Through unbiased, research-based horticulture training, they are equipped to address needs and opportunities in their community and throughout the state. Master Gardeners bring their expertise to Pratt so teachers and scholars can keep the school’s new pollinator gardens thriving.

Wisconsin Association of IB World Schools

The Wisconsin Association of IB World Schools exists to serve member schools across the state that are authorized providers of International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. Schools meet monthly to discuss and advise one another on IB policy, technology, and best practices across the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma programmes. 

Wisconsin Bike Fed

According to its mission, the Wisconsin Bike Fed is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that cultivates, motivates, and unites residents, communities, businesses, and political leaders to move bicycling forward in Wisconsin through education, legislation, and involvement. Pratt third graders complete the Bike Fed’s Bicycle Driver’s Ed curriculum.

Wisconsin Conservatory of Music

The Wisconsin Conservatory is more than a community music school; it guides and inspires children and adults alike to find their voice, discover their desired instrument, and develop their music-making capabilities, whether you are just beginning or a seasoned professional. The conservatory’s performer-educators bring weekly curriculum-based music instruction to Pratt.
