Mr. Czekalski became a teacher because he has always loved to read. From a very early age, his mother instilled a love of reading and writing in him, which he still carries to this day. He has been good at sports since he was young, particularly football and baseball. However, his real passion lies in coaching sports and training athletes. After graduating from high school, he chose to begin his career as a youth football coach.

Mr. Czekalski has been a teacher in MPS for 17 years, starting his teaching and coaching career at Milwaukee Custer High School. He is now celebrating his 14th year teaching at Pulaski High School, which he considers the greatest school with the best staff and the best students.

He has three children—two girls and one boy. His daughter plays basketball, his son plays baseball, and his youngest daughter is just learning how to throw a softball. Mr. Czekalski loves music, and alongside The Beatles, he is a hardcore Prince fan with every one of his records. His favorite rappers include LL Cool J, 50 Cent, and Tech N9ne. His favorite author is Edgar Allan Poe, and he also enjoys the writings of Stanley “Tookie” Williams, the author of Blue Rage, Black Redemption.
