Students

Our students speak more than 25 languages. Through our International Baccalaureate programmes, they develop attributes like “principled” and “knowledgeable” and examine societies and histories, local to global. They embrace the arts, technology, and intercultural communication skills to design solutions to real-world problems.

Staff

Changing the world starts at Pulaski. Our staff are mentors and classroom leaders who support students’ college and career goals and personal growth, preparing them for success in an interconnected world. Staff supervise clubs and coach athletics teams so students can learn about themselves and develop deeper connections to their school and city.

Programs

Pulaski High School academic programs are diverse and in demand.

  • Three International Baccalaureate programmes provide international perspective and purpose.
  • Bilingual Dual Language and ESL programs help students achieve high levels of proficiency and literacy in Spanish and English as they pursue IB studies.
  • Career pathways and campus laboratories prepare students for early college and career success in the automotive, business, and digital arts fields.

Ninth and tenth-grade students complete the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) at Pulaski before advancing to our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme or Career-related Programme during junior and senior years.

Community

Students contribute to a culture of respect and shared responsibility for our campus and multicultural community, guided by our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports framework.

Parents and caregivers are partners in their child’s education. From cultural celebrations to our School Engagement Council, families are valued and visible members of the Pulaski community.

History

Named after General Casimir Pulaski, a revered Polish general most famous for saving George Washington during the American Revolutionary War, Casimir Pulaski High School first opened its doors in 1933. Designed and built during the Art Deco movement, our building welcomes more than 900 students in grades nine through twelve.
